When I was a kid in the 1990s, my family got my first dog from Jane. Her name was Abby and she was an amazing basset hound. I was lucky to be able to grow up with such an awesome pet/friend and miss her dearly to this day. Now, as an adult in my 30s, my 2 daughters and I decided that we wanted to get a puppy. We did lots of research on different breeds but we had a hard time finding a breed that excited us. Then in talking with my sister, I discovered that Jane was still in the basset business and I instantly reached out! We were so incredibly lucky that she had one puppy left. Baby Luna entered our lives in 2021 and has brought so much joy to our lives. Sadly, a few months into our time with Luna, our 13 year old husky/shepherd suddenly passed away. Such a hard loss that we are still coping with. A few months later we reached back out to Jane to get back on the puppy wait list. In an amazing turn of events and with the blessings from Bethany and Jane, we were able to adopt Phil (Luna’s biological father). We could not be happier with these two as a pair. They are so loving towards each other and have made great additions to our little family. We are so thankful for Jane and Bethany and all they have done for us and for trusting us with their babies.
